The 'hey swillsy' story
I have alwaaays been a fan of taking time off to travel and just live my life. And I had always wanted to live abroad, so obviously I jumped at the chance to move to Canada thinking “yay! I’ll be able to see so much of Canada when I’m not working!”
So you can imagine my absolute HORROR when my first full-time Canadian job only gave me 10 days off a year 😳
And there began the idea of working for myself.
Because I believe that life is too short to spend it hustling for someone else’s dream, and only taking ten days off a year when you’re ‘allowed’ to. Fuck that shit.
I wanna do fun things with cool people that bring me joy, and I wanna help my fellow biz owners do the same 🫶
